As Vice President of the Association of Arts Administration Educators, Joan Jeffri is exploring, with a research team, the possibility of compiling a directory of Arts Administration programs in the world. This fall, a directory of programs in the European community will be available.

In addition, a course in Arts Administration that Jeffri helped create at the National Institute for Administration in Portugal will be offered again beginning in 1998. The course was originally offered at the Institute, which is outside Lisbon, from 1988 to 1992. This time the course will be at the new Culture Center of Belem in Lisbon. Jeffri will return to Lisbon twice a year to teach in the program.
