Greg Anderson, who is an Assistant Professor in the department of Organization and Leadership, spoke about his book, Building a Peoples University in South Africa, on November 14th. Faculty, staff and students attended the event, which started with a review of the book and ended with a question and answer session. The talk focused on the transformation of the University of Western Cape from originally being an institution designated for education of students of color (mixed-race) to South Africa's first non-racial, open admissions tertiary institution.
