On September 25th TC's Community College Research Center held the first seminar of the CCRC 2002-2003 Seminar Series. The series is designed to bring together community college practitioners and researchers to discuss issues pertaining to community colleges. The topic was "Counseling and Student Services in Community Colleges," and the panelists included Norton Grubb, David Pierpont Gardner Chair in Higher Education, UC Berkeley and Senior Research Associate at CCRC, Cynthia Heelan, President of Colorado Mountain College, and Nelson Reynoso, Director of Counseling at Bronx Community College.
