Author Gregory Michie reads from his latest book, See You When We Get There, at a TC Booktalk in Milbank Chapel on Tuesday, Jan. 25. Featuring portraits of five young minority female teachers who are "working for change," in this book Michie weaves their voices with classroom vignettes and his own experiences. Michie is an assistant professor of secondary education at National-Louis University in Chicago. A panel discussion of the book, including some of the teachers featured in the work, was moderated by Suzanne Carothers, a professor in the Department of Teaching and Learning at the Steinhardt's School of Education, New York University.
