John Allegrante, Professor of Health Education and Chairman of the Department of Health and Behavior Studies, was interviewed by the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program about his experience as a Fulbright senior specialist in 2005 at Reykjavik University in Iceland. Allegrante's research there confirmed a positive correlation between children's health status and their performance in school.
