Saxman, Crowley Honored by Professional Association for Work in Diversity
The two received their awards last month at ASHA’s annual convention in
Saxman, professor and coordinator of the speech and language pathology program and chair of the Department of Biobehavioral Sciences, received the award for having the vision for and developing one of the foremost speech language pathology programs in the country at Teachers College, with an emphasis on providing its graduates with the knowledge and skills to work with bilingual, minority, and low income populations.
