James Comer
Teachers College Trustee James P. Comer, M.D., is Maurice Falk Professor of Child Psychiatry at the Yale Child Study Center and Associate Dean of the Yale School of Medicine. He is the founder of the Yale School Development Program.
Comer is internationally known for his creation in 1968 of the Comer School Development Program, now viewed as the forerunner of most modern school reform efforts.
