"Every Voice" Is Heard From: A Unique Children's Choir Performs

On May 29th, Every Voice Kids and the Every Voice Youth Choir, led by Music Director Nicole Becker (Ed.D '11) and Voice Specialist Jeanne Goffi-Fynn (Ed.D. '96), performed in Milbank Chapel. Titled "Our Own Songs," the evening featured vocal selections from Kenya, the Torres Strait Islands and other regions of the world.

The two ensembles were founded in 2008 by Becker and Goffi-Flynn (who is also lecturer in TC's Program in Music & Music Education). Employing a constructivist teaching philosophy,  they are made up, respectively of children ages 7-10 and 10-14 from local area schools.
