The Fabulous Fifties: Half a century later, TC's "Golden Anniversary" alumni share their memories
On the first day of Convocation 2015, Teachers College hosted a special brunch in honor of its Golden Alumni – those who graduated 50 years ago or more. About 30 alumni attended from near and far, swapped stories and marched in the processional at Convocation, as several had in 1965. In brief, several alumni shared their favorite memories, discussed the impact TC had on their personal and professional lives, and recalled the Civil Rights movement and other flashpoints of America during the 1960s.
