Chris Emdin, associate professor of math education, told a business innovation gathering in Providence, Rhode Island, that the Wu Tang Clan inspired him to become a teacher. Emdin collaborated with GZA, a founding member of the Wu-Tang Clan, on a program that incorporates hip-hop concepts and rap into science education for middle and high school students.
