NYT Covers Celia Oyler's Role in Debate Over Standardized Tests
The New York Times interviewed Celia Oyler, TC Professor of Education, after she posted to her blog some questions taken from a standardized reading exam recently administered to fourth graders. An anonymous teacher had sent the questions to Oyler, along with a critique of the exam. The posting of the questions "ignited on the Internet," writes the NYT, prompting renewed debate about nationwide standardized testing.
