Xiaodong Lin Speaks with PBS's (SciTech)Now About Her Research on Scientists' Failure Stories
An interview with TC’s Xiaodong Lin by PBS’s Hari Sreenivasan airs this week on the public TV network’s (SciTech) Now show. Sreenivasan, anchor of PBS NewsHour Weekend and (SciTech)Now, interviewed Lin about her research, which found that high school students in Harlem who learned about the failures of famous scientists posted higher scores on science tests than their peers who did not. The research was funded by the National Science Foundation and published in February by the Journal of the American Psychological Association.
