How to Apply

To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet the following criteria: 

• U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents in the U.S.
• Admitted to the Teachers College school psychology MA/EdM program
• Remain in good standing once admitted to the school psychology program
• Demonstrate potential for and commitment to delivering culturally informed, evidence-based, trauma-sensitive practice within urban, high-need schools settings

How to Apply: 

The first step is to apply for acceptance in the School Psychology MA/EdM program. When completing the application, interested candidates will complete additional questions about their experiences and interest related to the CITY Program objectives. Finalists will be interviewed by CITY leadership. 

Competitive applicants will have professional goals and experiences that are aligned with CITY program goals of increasing access to evidence-based, culturally-informed, trauma-sensitive mental health services to culturally and linguistically diverse youth in high needs schools.
