Visiting Scholars

The College welcomes visitors and others who do not hold academic appointments at the College to come to TC, for a specific period of time, to facilitate their research and to participate in College activities.

*Visiting scholars can also apply for J-1 visa sponsorship through the OISS per the guidelines for J-1 research scholar/professor.

Please note:

  • Individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements for visiting scholar status, but are actively enrolled doctoral students with an invitation from a TC faculty member may be eligible for visiting doctoral student status.
  • Individuals who do not qualify as a visiting scholar, are also not eligible for visa sponsorship from the College.
