Scholarly Interests
Dr. Belinda Arana is an adjunct assistant professor in the Bilingual Bicultural Program, Department of Arts and Humanities Department. Her scholarly interests include the intersection of language, culture, identity and dis/abilities as well as teacher reflection, agency and professional development. She began her career as a dual language teacher in NYC Public Schools working with Latinx students and communities and she continues to work with these communities through research and an after school program. Today she works with students in the Bilingual Bicultural Program as a professor, researcher, advisor and supervisor.
