Student Organizations

Student organizations at Teachers College provide a vibrant space for students to connect, grow, and lead. Offering a wide range of groups centered around identity, social causes, academics, and professional development, these organizations allow students to dive into their passions, reflect on their experiences, and engage with diverse perspectives.

Led by TC students but open to the broader Columbia community, these groups are typically advised by faculty and supported by a GSLD staff member. Many of our organizations have established annual traditions and host a variety of events, including cultural showcases, campus competitions, and networking opportunities. Focused on engagement and community building, these organizations participate in required annual training as well as monthly meetings facilitated by our office to ensure they remain active, well-organized, and in line with the values of the TC community.
