Colombia (Bogotá/Cundinamarca; Antioquia, Cúcuta)
2020-2025 (Currently ongoing)
Primary Investigator: S. Garnett Russell
This multi-year project explores the case of Colombia, which signed a peace agreement in 2016 after more than five decades of armed conflict. Through the use of mixed-methods data collected across 12 secondary schools in three regions, this study investigates how transitional justice processes are incorporated within the education system and how teachers and students understand and engage with concepts related to transitional justice and peacebuilding.
