Welcome
Our team’s work is grounded in the belief that no one should be left on the outside when it comes to basic human dignity, opportunities, safety, and respect. We believe strong communities are built when all people have a chance to contribute and be treated fairly.
We’re a group of researchers and graduate students in the Department of Counseling and Clinical Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University. Our work examines the ways that standard approaches in psychology don’t always reflect the real-life experiences that are part of contemporary life -- especially people from communities that have been overlooked, left out, or misunderstood. Our goal is to include missing perspectives and voices and help psychology serve everyone more effectively and honorably.
