Visiting Doctoral Students

Marina López Leavy is a PhD candidate in Sociology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and “La Caixa” INPhINIT fellow. Sponsored by the Fulbright Commission, she will visit Teachers College to advance her thesis on the evolution, institutionalization, and uses of large-scale learning assessments in Latin America. She holds a BA in Educational Sciences (UBA, Argentina) and a MA in Education Policies for Global Development (UAB, Spain and UoG, UK). Marina has worked as a consultant for IIEP-UNESCO, the World Bank, the Inter-American Dialogue, and Argentina’s National Ministry of Education.
