Journal of Mathematics Education at Teachers College
The Journal of Mathematics Education at Teachers College is a peer-reviewed, semi-annual journal, it is intended to provide dissemination opportunities for writers of practice-based or research contributions to the general field of Mathematics Education.
Each issue of the JMETC focuses on an educational theme. The JMETC has a distinctive niche in the world of education publishing. Our readers are educators from pre K-12 and college and university levels, and from many different disciplines and job positions—teachers, principals, superintendents, professors of education, and other leaders in education.

Topic Study Groups
"Topic Study Groups" provides a list of topics on which the academic work of the teachers and students in the Program is (largely) based. See link below. Each heading corresponds to the page of a Topic Study Group. There, you'll find a bibliography, including selected works by the faculty and some dissertations defended at Teachers College. Such bibliographies are, of course, by no means exhaustive. Their purpose is merely to help doctoral candidates to begin working on a chosen topic, and also to make it easier for them to understand what is meant by the title of each topic, some of which are very broad. In the future, the names of doctoral candidates who are interested in a given topic will appear on the site. Each candidate can, of course, sign up for several Topic Study Groups. This will facilitate the organization of joint work by doctoral candidates and, possibly, certain seminars or courses. The provided bibliographies will also be useful for preparing for certification examinations.
