Welcome to the Peace Corps Fellows Program at Teachers College at Teachers College, Columbia University! Since 1985, we have supported the Jaffe Fellows, Returned Peace Corps Volunteers, as they become New York City public school teachers in high needs schools teaching English, science, mathematics, teaching English as a second language, social studies as well as elementary, special and bilingual/ bicultural education while earning their master's degrees from Teachers College, Columbia University.

Yusuf Siddiq
Yusuf, a native of New York, served in the Philippines and teaches high school English.
Kenefa Augustine
Kenefa, a lifelong New Yorker, served in the Caribbean and teaches elementary special education.
Jon Ahn
Jon, originally from Arkansas, served in Ecuador and teaches high school English.
Perry Watkins
Perry, a Georgia native, served in Panama and teaches elementary bilingual students.
Dustin Holmes
Dustin, a native of Florida, served in Uganda and teaches high school newcomers English.
Ashly Emerson
Ashly served and in Ukraine, she now teaches HS Social Studies.
Sam Johnsen
Sam, a native of New York State, served in Ghana and now teaches Geometry in the Bronx.
Emma Webley
Emma grew up in Pennsylvania and Australia, served in Ecuador, and now works as an elementary Spanish dual-language immersion school teacher in Brooklyn.
