Our Student Body

Teachers College continues to be ranked among the nation’s 10 best by US News and World Report. There are over 5,000 current students studying in the areas of Education, Health, Psychology, and Leadership:

  • Over 70% of the student body are Masters Students, 20% are Doctoral Students, and about 10% are pursuing other tracks, such as certificates. 
  • About 70% of the student body are domestic students from over 45 different US states. 
  • Nearly 30% of the student body are international students representing over 70 different countries. 
  • Approximately 75% of incoming students have at least a year of professional work experience.
  • Nearly 50% of TC graduates in 2018 reported they participated in one or more internships during their time at TC.
